How long have you been on DeviantArt?
I have been on dA for a little over a year.
What does your username mean?
It's my nickname.
Describe yourself in three words.
"Sam I am". Yup that's three words! XD
Are you left or right handed?
My dominant hand was my left, but I taught myself how to write with my right. I'm ambidextrous.
What was your first deviation?
Oh goodness... In terms of traditional art (which is what I mainly upload now), my first upload was "Made of Stone" (Although technically my very first upload was a Black Butler fan-fiction... XD).
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Although I love drawing anime/manga characters, I would say that poetry and writing short stories are my absolute favorite. It's the only form of art where I can truly pour everything I've got into it. I discover a new side of me that I never knew was there before. I actually kept all my poems and stories I've written from the ages of twelve to seventeen (there's at least eighty-four poems and four short stories).
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Digital art. I absolutely adore seeing art that depicts my favorite anime characters into a more realistic version of them.
What was your first favourite?
I'm not sure what it was called... I've tried sorting out my favorited deviations into folders, but then I kind of gave up. XD Though I'm pretty sure it was a Black Butler fan-fiction...
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Digital art.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
To be honest, I couldn't say. I love a ton of artists on dA and their unique styles of art.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
As weird as this may sound, it would have to be DocMaddox. XD He has been nothing but supportive, generous, and sweet to me! (He could honestly give me the diabetes. XD) And if I were to meet him in real life, I would ask him to sign my poetry book (I only let people who have been an inspiration to me sign my book XD).
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
They've taught me to view the world through multiple perspectives, they've inspired me to create horror/macabre artwork, and they've helped me overcome tough situations. <3 (Ahem... Doc... XD)
What are your preferred tools to create art?
A pencil, Copic-brand liners and markers, and thick paper.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
My brain place and heart hole.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
It's not really about the memory for me, but of the impact dA has had on me. It motivated me to continue producing artwork and try out different styles. I started drawing anime/manga characters because of dA.
