Your POV:

Once we reached the entrance hall, Sebastian headed towards Grell who was hanging from a noose tied to the ceiling, while Amy and I saw the young blond girl from earlier dash past us and jump on Ciel, hugging him so tightly that he was turning blue.

"CIEL!!! I missed you so much!" The girl shouted joyfully.

"Elizabeth!"

"How many times have I told you to call me Lizzie!" She playfully pouted. "Every time I see you, you're always so cute!" She continued.

"Lady Elizabeth," said Sebastian. He was carrying Grell by the noose and judging from the look on his face, he wanted an explanation for the incident, but unfortunately "Elizabeth" didn't understand.

"Oh, good afternoon Sebastian!" Elizabeth beamed at Sebastian until she saw Grell in his grasp, "Oh no, you took him down."

"I do apologize my lady, but he mars the beauty of this room," Sebastian replied.

"But I made such a lovely decoration out of him!" Elizabeth complained.

"Decoration?" Sebastian asked.

"Yes! Look the salon is so cute now, isn't it?" Elizabeth gestured to our surroundings.

"My mansion..." Ciel muttered still depressed and shocked by the outcome.

"Only cute things are allowed to be in this mansion, right Antoinette?" Elizabeth turned
to Tanaka who was wearing blonde curls complimented with a pink bow tie.

"Ho, ho, ho." He replied.

"Even you, Tanaka-san?" Sebastian asked. He turned back to Elizabeth and continued, "I am sure you are able to make more lovely decorations using other means." Sebastian paused and gave me a sinister smile, "Might I suggest (Y/n)?"

I glared at Sebastian.

Elizabeth turned to look at me, "Well he was a perfect decoration but...I guess I can dress her up too." Suddenly a smile stretched across her face, "And once I'm finished with the both of you then you will surely look cute together!"

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, "The BOTH of us?"

"Yes! Don't think I forgot you Sebastian!" She said.

Out of nowhere Elizabeth pulled out a pink bonnet and put it on Sebastian.

"You always dress in black, so I thought this would look ABSOLUTELY cute on you!"

The three servants started snickering at the sight of him while Amy giggled. Eventually I chimed in, "My, now you certainly look irresistibly handsome Sebastian."

Mey-rin, Baldroy, and Finny ended up bursting out laughing hysterically. Sebastian had blushed at my last comment and didn't seem to mind my response to his pink bonnet. However, the servants were not so fortunate...

Sebastian gave them a cold and dark stare that said "I'm going to kill all of you.” He nearly came close to it when he beat the living daylight out of all of them, and as a finishing touch, drove a sword through them.

Acting as if nothing happened, Sebastian continued talking to Elizabeth, "I am deeply honored to have received such a considerable gift for my humble self."

"You're welcome!"

"Lizzie, what are you doing here? Where's Auntie?" Ciel interrupted.

Elizabeth ran up to Ciel and grabbed both of his hands and pulled him into another hug as she replied, "I snuck away because I wanted to see you!"

Ciel was completely shocked, "Snuck away?! What were you thinking?!"

Amy tugged at my dress again and asked me to pick her up. When I did, she turned herself so that she faced Sebastian. She beamed at him and adjusted his bonnet. He smirked while I smiled. He opened his mouth to say something, but Grell interrupted, "Um...who is she?" He looked at Elizabeth.

"She is the daughter of the Marquess of Scotney. Lady Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Milford."
Grell looked at Sebastian dumbfounded and tried to repeat Elizabeth's full name, but failed miserably.

"Lady Elizabeth is my young master's betrothed," Sebastian said.

"Oh, his betrothed!" Grell commented.

The servants had spontaneously revived and were all completely shocked when Sebastian said 'betrothed.'

Without a slight change in his expression, Sebastian continued, "Lady Elizabeth is the daughter of a marquess. Noblemen must marry noblewomen, obviously."

"I have a great idea!" Elizabeth shouted. "Now that the mansion looks so cute and lovely, let's have a ball tonight!"

Ciel's eye widened with fear and he emitted a small gasp while the servants were left puzzled.

"And I'll dance with my financé as my escort!" Elizabeth continued. She took Ciel and swung him around in circles as the thought of dancing with her husband-to-be lingered in her head. Once she let go of him, he began to protest.

"Wait! Who gave you permission to-"

Elizabeth cut him off, "You can wear the clothes I picked out for you, Ciel!"
He was starting to get annoyed, "Listen to me when I'm-"

"And I must dress to the nines as well!" She continued.

She ran over to where Sebastian, Grell, Amy, and I stood and grabbed all of us except for Sebastian and said, "Come on, I'll make you all cuter too!"

I looked at Sebastian who smirked at me. I returned it with a frown. If he wants to play this game with me, fine. However, I don't play to get even. I play to win.

Amy wiggled herself out of my hold and climbed higher on top of me and wrapped her legs around my neck. The last thing I heard from the salon was Ciel shouting after Elizabeth to listen to him before she yanked on both Grell and I and ran off with all of us.

-WHAT TIME IS IT?!
-IT'S FAST FORWARD TIME!!! :D

Sebastian's POV:

With my master's permission, I entered his office and poured him a cup of tea. He sighed in annoyance and appeared to be in deep thought. I decided to intervene, "I believe the wisest thing to do is to follow Lady Elizabeth's plan and then kindly ask her to leave."

He automatically dismissed my suggestion, "Just give her some dinner or something and get her out of here." He continued, "I don't have any time to deal with her girlish hobbies."
"But my lord, it seems Lady Elizabeth desires a dance."

My young master took hold of the tea cup and raised it to his mouth and let it hover for a moment before putting it back down.

"Young master?"

"What?"

"I've never seen you dance however, I presume you can do it?"

He ignored me and began reading his letters. No wonder...

"Well that does provide an explanation as to why you play the wallflower when asked to participate in such occasions," I said.

"I am busy with work, I don't have time to play-"

I took the letters from him and set them aside.

"With all due respect, young master, it is called "social dance" for a reason. It's a skill that you must know, for it will naturally be necessary at soirées and banquets. I continued to lecture my young master as I served him a slice of orchard fruit cake, "Everyone expects a first-class gentleman to know how to dance-"

"If you continue to reject any more dance invitations, your reputation in social circles will begin to plummet."

I turned around to see (Y/n) and Amy standing behind me wearing the same outfits. I smirked at her and said, "Returned so soon? I must say, I am slightly disappointed. I would've imagined to see you at least in a different attire. After all, we will be dancing I presume?"

(Y/n)'s expression didn't change, however the look of hope was evident on Amy's face.
"Are you asking me to dance with YOU Sebastian?"

I knelt down on one knee and held her hand in mine as I replied, "Yes, my lady."
She smirked back at me and said, "I shall dance with you if Ciel learns to dance."
Although her answer was a give-and-take, I couldn't help but feel happy. True we were simply playing a game of revenge and flirtation and I've only known her for a brief time, but I couldn't help but feel something more for (Y/n)...why am I suddenly feeling this way?

My eyes fell upon Amy who was beaming at me. It was only now I noticed that she always smiles at (Y/n) and I whenever either of us flirts with each other and she seems to be on edge...is she hoping (Y/n) and I will become a couple or does she know something?

Your POV:

"Fine! I'll do it! That will make the both of you happy right? Sebastian, call a tutor or something. Mrs. Bright or Mrs. Rodkin..." Ciel said annoyed.

Sebastian checked his pocket watch and said, "There's no time to call a Madame now." He closed his pocket watch and slipped it back into his pocket. He continued, "With your permission, I will instruct you in dancing."

Ciel slammed his fists on the table and protested, "Don't be ridiculous! I can't dance with a tall man like you!" He continued, "And do you even know HOW to dance?"

"Leave the Viennese waltzes to me. I was often a guest at Schönbrunn Palace."

Ciel stared at him bewildered while Sebastian held out a hand to him and asked, "May I have this dance, my lord?"

-WHAT TIME IS IT?!
-IT'S FAST FORWARD TIME!!! :D

Your POV:

It was amusing at first to watch Sebastian trying to teach Ciel to dance.  Whenever Ciel would trip or Sebastian became a little impatient, Amy and I would both giggle and they would either blush or become frustrated.  As the first two and a half hours passed by with no improvement, I progressively grew more bored and irritated.  I could tell Ciel was the same.

When Ciel stepped on Sebastian’s foot for the millionth time, they ceased to practice. They had a moment of silence as Sebastian looked at Ciel with a hopeless expression while Ciel returned it with the look of irritation on his face. Eventually Sebastian sighed, “Your instinct for dance is no more than catastrophic, my lord.  You mustn't be dependent on me.”

“I can’t do this...YOU’RE TOO TALL!” Ciel yelled.

Sebastian ignored his comment and continued, “Most importantly, you must change your glum expression. It is rude and impolite to the lady. Instead, you need to smile as if you are having fun.”

And with that, he pinched Ciel’s cheeks and twisted them around until Ciel yelled at him and smacked his hand away.

I emitted a long and sad sigh as I watched Ciel express himself through anger and sadness. I looked at Amy and she nodded. We both stood up and got into our starting dance position.

“On my count. One...two...three, and four.”

Amy and I gracefully waltzed around the room without missing a single step or getting off-beat. Both Ciel and Sebastian looked at us shocked. When we saw their expressions, we began to smile and laugh. We transitioned from multiple traditional dances and then began to improvise. I would take a dare and pick up Amy and either swing her around or toss her up in the air. Then finally we finished in our starting position and looked back at the boys with a feeling of superiority overcoming us.

I turned my head to Ciel and said, “It isn’t the height that matters, it’s your ambition.”
He looked at Sebastian doubtfully and met my eyes again.

“Very well. If you are hesitant to have Sebastian as your instructor, then I will teach you.”

“I can’t learn all of that choreography!” he complained.

“You don’t need to learn all of it, just the basics,” I replied. “It’s easy. Follow my lead on the first sixteen counts, and then you lead. Ready?”

“Not really…”

“One...two...three, and four.”

Your POV:

I wanted to die.

I tolerated Elizabeth when she first dressed up Grell, Amy, and I, but...I didn't think that she would actually expect us to dress in these ridiculous outfits!

I continued to pace in a different room muttering to myself when Elizabeth burst opened the door.

"(Y/n)! Why aren't you downstairs yet? Everyone is waiting!"

I gave her an irritated look, "Elizabeth, I don't really fancy this dress...I'm sorry."
Judging by the expression portrayed on her face, she was disappointed.

"(Y/n)...how could you?"

I felt so bad. I know she just wanted to make things cute, but I would rather not be seen in this dress.

"Elizabeth, I'm sorry! I really am! Please don't be angry or sad! Besides, you should care more for Ciel since this is your chance to dance with him! I mean I have to dance with Sebastian but-"

She cut me off, "I've already told you three times to call me Lizzie!"

Awkward...

"And that's fine if you don't like it! I brought another one just in case if anything happened!" She said.

She pulled out a suitcase from underneath the bed full of "cute" things and began to rummage through it. She took out a neatly folded dress and spread it out on the bed.
My jaw dropped.

"Elizabeth...this is SO beautiful!"

"It's Lizzie!"

Sebastian's POV:

I stood at the top of the staircase beside my master with his new walking stick in my hand. I followed him as he descended the staircase. Once we reached the main floor, Lady Elizabeth threw herself on my master and began to make comments on how he dressed for this evening.

My eyes scanned the room. Everyone was present except for (Y/n). I sighed. Where could she possibly be at this moment? Does she not know that it is rude to-

"(Y/n)! YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE!!!"

I turned around and looked up towards the top of the staircase and surely enough, (Y/n) stood there. I was captivated and mesmerized by her beauty.

She wore a long black dress that faded to a dark shade of (f/c) and spread out across the floor. Her arms were concealed with black floral lace sleeves that traveled past her wrists and wrapped around her middle finger like a ring. Her (h/c), (h/l) hair was partially held by a diamond cherry blossom accessory. To match her hair, she wore a diamond earring on her left ear that appeared to be intertwined branches which crawled up her ear until it reached the cartilage on the top. (Y/n) also wore some light makeup that matched the color of the end of her dress that intensified her beauty.

“I’m sorry I’m late…” She said shyly.

She began to walk down the staircase towards us. Whenever she took a step, her dress would slightly go up revealing her black high-heeled shoes. Although she was cautious when she walked, she still tripped on the last step and fell into my arms. I smirked at her while she blushed.

“Hey, don’t give me that look. It’s these heels…”

“It’s not that my lady. You look absolutely beautiful this evening,” I said.
The blush upon her face had deepened due to my response.

“I told you to call me (Y/n).”

“I shall address you by your name once you address me as your dearest,” I replied.
A smirk grew upon her face as she said, “Oh, Sebastian…”

Suddenly I heard my master yell, “GIVE THAT BACK!”

I shot my head towards where I heard his voice and saw him holding out his hand to Lady Elizabeth who was holding my master’s heirloom ring.

Her voice was sad when she spoke, “C-Ciel...why are you so angry at me? I went through so much trouble…”

My master’s eyes kept in contact with Lady Elizabeth’s and clearly portrayed discontent.
Lady Elizabeth backed away slowly and said with a hurt and angry tone, “All I did was try and make you adorable...so why are you so angry at me?!”

She continued, “I HATE THIS STUPID RING!”

And with that, she threw my master’s ring on the floor using as much force as she could. Once it made contact with the floor, a large part of the gem and band had shattered into pieces.

My master stared in shock and disbelief at what she had done. He became so consumed in anger that he advanced on her and was about to slap her when I stopped him by the wrist.
“Young master...you had forgotten your new walking stick,” I calmly said.

From the look on my master’s face, he was still in a state of shock and was in the process of analyzing what had just happened. I walked over to Lady Elizabeth who was now crying and explained to her the importance of the ring to my master, “Lady Elizabeth, that ring was essential to my master. It had been passed down by the heads of the Phantomhive family for generations. It was one-of-a-kind. I hope you do forgive my master for his rudeness.”

The look of sadness was now replaced by guilt on her face as she asked, “I...I didn’t know...I...I destroyed such a precious ring?”

Your POV:

I was completely shocked by what had just happened, and was concerned for both Lizzie and Ciel. While Lizzie was still crying out of guilt for what she had done, Ciel had calmed down, taken the ring, and threw it out the window.

Lizzie ran to the window and yelled in concern, “Ciel! How could you do that?!”
He turned his head towards her and replied, “It was just an old ring.” He continued, “Even without that ring, I’m still the head of the Phantomhives!”

Everyone stared at him in shock, but the one who was the most astonished was Sebastian. However, it didn’t take that long for his expression to shift to a smirk.

Ciel walked over to Lizzie and asked, “How long are you going to cry for?”

“B-But…”

“Your face is still a mess, and you call yourself a lady?”

He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped her tears away.

Suddenly, a smirk appeared on his face as he continued, “I don’t fancy asking a lady with such a messy face to dance.”

A light blush appeared on Lizzie’s face when she heard his last comment.

Then out of nowhere, a violin began to play. I turned around only to see Sebastian at the top of the staircase with his eyes locked on me as he played a melody. I smiled at him, and looked back at Ciel and Lizzie who were happily dancing together as if nothing had happened.

In addition to the violin, I heard a piano harmonizing. I turned to where it was coming from and saw Amy seated at  the same grand piano that we found near our room. Eventually, Grell had decided that he would accompany them by singing. The three servants were irritated at first when he made the decision, but were taken aback when he had begun.
“What the hell?! He sounds amazing!” Bard commented.

Finally, the dance Lizzie had been waiting for had begun. Ciel began with the basic waltz steps I taught him, and then transitioned to other dances that blended well with the music. I watched satisfied with the outcome of my dancing lessons when someone had called for my attention.

“My lady.”

I turned around to see Sebastian standing behind me. Although he ceased to play the violin, Amy and Grell continued on without any flaws.

Sebastian held out a hand for me and asked, ”May I have this dance?”

I smiled at him and replied, “Why yes, my dearest.”

He returned the smile and slid his hand behind my lower back while our opposite free hands had intertwined. Then finally, we began to waltz. Our eyes never looked away and Sebastian teased me by keeping his face just a couple of inches away from his. Halfway through the dance, I saw Grell from the corner of my eye staring at the both of us seemingly angry. I eventually broke the eye contact between Sebastian and I to look at Grell. When his eyes met mine, he glared at me briefly before returning to his singing.

“I must admit, I am truly impressed by the results of your lesson,” Sebastian said.

I made eye contact with him again and said, “Really? I didn’t know it would take me THAT long to teach him...I mean five minutes? I had taught Amy the same dance moves in approximately three.”

Sebastian smirked at me and said, “You are truly something else, (Y/n).”

-WHAT TIME IS IT?!
-NOOOO!!!!!!!
-IT”S FAST FORWARD TIME!!! :D
-WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Sebastian’s POV:

After Lady Elizabeth and that no-good butler had departed, I had gone to my young master’s room to prepare him for bed.

“What a rotten day…” He complained.

“Rotten? It seemed as if you were enjoying yourself,” I replied.
“Don’t be a fool,”

My young master had went to take the ring off of his thumb only to realize that he had thrown it out the window earlier.

“Which of us is the fool?” I asked. “It was important to you wasn’t it? And yet you still showed off for Lady Elizabeth.”

I held his hands with mine and slipped on his ring. He emitted a small gasp and looked at me with the look of surprise evident in his eye while I smirked at him.

“A Phantomhive butler who can’t do this much isn’t worth his salt,” I said. “This ring exists to be on your finger. Please cherish it and treat it with care,” I continued.

My master had a forlorn look on his face as he replied, “True...this ring has witnessed the death of many of its masters. My grandfather, my father...and I’m sure it will be present at the time of my death as well. It has heard the dying screams of the heads of the Phantomhives over and over again...when I close my eyes, I can hear them...I can hear their wretched voices...I thought to myself, ‘If I throw the ring out, maybe I will stop hearing those voices.’ It’s ridiculous isn’t it?”

“Goodness look how high the moon has risen,” I commented. “You’ll get sick this way. Please get some rest.”

I had tucked my young master into his bed, and was about to leave when he called for me, “Sebastian?”

“Yes?”

“Stay by me until I fall asleep.”

“My...you will display weakness in front of me?”

“It’s just an order.”

I smirked at him, but I still followed his orders. I walked over to my master’s bed, knelt down, and replied, “I’ll stay by your side ALWAYS master. Until the end.”
Once I exited his room. Memories from earlier had entered my head.

“Even without that ring, I’m still the head of the Phantomhives!”
“Stay by me until I fall asleep…”
“Until the end…”

I chuckled. Now THIS is a soul that is worthy to devour…

“Now...I must make preparations for tomorrow…”

~~~EXTRA PART~~~
Meanwhile...
Your POV:
I threw myself on our bed and emitted a long, relaxed sigh after changing into my nightgown and helping Amy remove her makeup and outfit. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the peacefulness of the night when the light from the bathroom penetrated my eyelids. I opened one eye and saw Amy stroll out of the bathroom wearing her nightgown.
She turned off the light, walked around the perimeter of our bed, hopped up, and sat cross-legged next to me. She reached for one of the drawers next to her, pulled something out of it along with a cloth and a small steel block, and began to make repetitive short strokes, alternating between her tools.
I opened both eyes and watches as she continued to clean whatever it was in her hand. It emitted short, sharp, raspy sounds similar to that of a knife when it is being sharpened.
Soon enough curiosity enticed me to ask, "Amy, what is it you are cleaning?"
She looked up at me while still doing the same motions, and moved the object so that the moonlight shone upon it.
"It got dirty during my last job," she explained.
My eyes fell upon it. The object she was cleaning was her kama which was cloaked in both old and fresh dark red stains.
"Alright, just try not to make a mess or so much noise. It's already bad enough Sebastian's suspicious."
"But he will find out soon..." Amy giggled.
"I rather later than now. Besides, what will he do when he knows?"
"What will you do?"
I remained silent. The truth was, I didn't know what the either of us would do if he discovered my identity. I know I cannot continue to dodge the bullet or play with these games...what WILL I do?
Suddenly, I heard footsteps draw near to our room. Amy and I froze as we saw a dim light peek through underneath our door. After a few moments, the footsteps continued on past our room and the light faded away. I let out a sigh of relief. If that person had entered into our room...
"Maybe it would be best to speak again in the morning," I suggested.
"Alright, Goodnight (Y/n)!" Amy replied.
She put down her kama and turned towards me to give me a hug and plant a good-night's kiss on my cheek. She beamed at me as she said, "You're the best sister ever (Y/n)."
I smiled at her and replied, "And so are you Amy..."
I turned towards the head of our bed to close the curtains when I saw something red dash across the garden. I tried to get a better look of what it was, but it was too dark outside, so I shrugged it off, finished closing the curtains, and laid in bed staring at the ceiling while listening to Amy cleaning her kama.
Hm...red...?
Sorry it took me so long to upload! xP
You keep making this wonderful series, okay love? This is truly the first thing that I have read that is worth reading. The fact that I can clearly picture what is happening is always a bonus, and you way of writing helps that. Keep up the good work.Ene (Wink) [V12]
